Welcome to the CUPE 3903 Discussion Forums.

You have the ability, as you register, to choose your username. YOUR USERNAME MUST BE YOUR REAL NAME (first name [space] last name). No aliases. No titles. Just your actual name. ANY ATTEMPTED REGISTRATION USING AN ALIAS OR WHICH DEVIATES FROM THIS PROTOCOL WILL BE REJECTED.

You should be added automatically to any committees, of which you are a member. If you are a member of a caucus or working group you will have to request access from one of the moderators of that groups boards or from an Administrator. If you cannot see the forum for a group of which you should be a member, please message an Administrator and they will add you once membership has been confirmed.


CUPE 3903 is committed to maintaining forums that are safe and accessible for all members while ensuring that they provide space for fruitful, spirited discussion where the forum's mandate permits. This means that, for forms with a restricted purpose and mandate, members are expected to limit their discussions to the scope of the forum. All members are expected to commit to participating in ways that are consistent with the CUPE Equality Statement and to avoid harassing behaviour, discriminatory behaviour, and personal attacks. Speech which violates the CUPE National Constitution is also not protected, and will be sanctioned.

You agree, through your use of these forums, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any International or Canadian law. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, and solicitations are also forbidden. Spammers will be banned without warning.

The posted messages express the views of the author, and not necessarily the views of CUPE 3903 or its officers. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an Administrator or moderator immediately. The staff and the owner of this forum reserve the right to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if they determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, please realize that they may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. This policy applies to member profile information as well.
